Trying to rewind the tape

Here I am in Scarborough! The place is nice, the school is set in a traditional 19th century  house, not far from the town centre, with a beautiful garden and well equipped classrooms. 

The morning course is really crowded!! A lot of Italian participants...as usual! The lessons are interesting: new vocabulary, phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions to learn. Every lesson starts with exercises meant to reuse and revise the words introduced in the previous lesson: a strategy I must remember to use in my classes... mainly matching exercises, replacing words with synonyms or simply a list of words and expressions to explain in pairs or groups.  
The afternoon classes are smaller and the lessons focus on methodology and technology in language teaching: a lot of practical ideas!
