It's always great...but definitely not the best period of the year for a teacher training course...no colleagues for this week!!😣
Which means individual and personalised tuition: the real tutorial system Oxford is famous for!!! 😏
I never have a rest, not even for the coffee break at the nearby Town Hall cafeteria: the teacher, George, seems to enjoy having his coffee with me and Clara...well a lot of extra listening and speaking activity for us!
The morning lessons, from 9,00 to 12,30, focus mainly on the language and are 'lighter' and funnier, while the afternoon lessons, from 13,30 to 17,00 are about methodology and are more academic so, let's say, more demanding!
Actually Marina, who is a College teacher, has a lot of experience also as an examiner and it's interesting to learn about dfferent approaches in teaching and assessing students.
